i agree with you that harry/ginny would be trite and blah and overall would make me want to punch someone. obviously harry should date boys :). seriously, i find that much more agreeable than any girl.

btw, i looked at ootp last night again because of our remus/sirius conversation, and they even gave harry a joint christmas gift :).

The joint xmas gift was a pretty big clue. Like I said last night 15 year olds are pretty dense about that sort of thing. Maybe Remus will have a talk with Harry and tell him about his relationship with Sirius. Lord, someone has to. He has no other father figure.

yeah! i mean...of course friends often give other friends joint gifts, but this is different since harry is sirius' godson and not a friend. there is no real reason why they'd give a joint gift unless they're are a couple, or at least that's what i insist on :).

i'd love for remus to say something to harry. he's certainly in the best position to talk to harry about sirius. he could just say that he loved sirius, and then maybe leave a significant pause and it could click in harry's head or not.

Yeah, JKR said on her website that more of Blaise would appear in the later books, which is why I added him to my dead pool. But that doesn't preclude him from being the good Slytherin.
