I've been trying to post this for a couple of days now. Either I'm getting bumped from the computer or I just don't the time to even turn it on.

This is by no means exhaustive. There are several fics I haven't read yet, including the highly recced May Contain Nuts, but this is a good enough start.

Thanks for these recs, mizbean. :) My time is so limited these days, I've come to depend on recs for reading material. Gone are the days when I'd read the first few paragraphs of every -- and I mean every -- story posted to the monster h/d comms.

You're welcome! I'm glad they'll be of use. I totally rely on recs myself or I pick and choose the fics with the most comments, thinking they'll be the best, which always the case.

I think I'm going to print out 'May contain nuts' on my office's printer so I can read it on the train. I really want to read it, but I haven't had the time to.
