So, I remember vaguely reading somewhere about a Canadian version of Primeval, so when I saw "Primeval: New Wold" on eztv I figured I'd check it out, just because, you know, Dinosaurs. I'm so glad this isn't a reboot but an actual spin-off though! And it has Niall Matter as a lead! Oh, my baby, I fell in love with you the first time Zane showed up

I'd almost forgotten about the US Primeval spin-off. I remember seeing a picture for it ages and ages ago. But I hadn't heard anything since. How are their dinosaurs? Are they good dinosaurs at least? :D

I just checked and it's a Canadian show actually (so I corrected that in the entry). Which might be why we didn't really hear anything about it.

The dinosaurs are typical Primeval as far as effects go. They're good dinosaurs, though there were only "famous" ones in this episode (raptors, pterodactyle, you know), and one thing I liked very much about the UK show was that they often went with less-known species, but I'll give them time.

I miss cute little Rex, though.

I watched it just for curiousity's sake. I see what you mean, though their dinosaurs look a little closer to CG than ours, I think. I kind of like their team though, even if the acting is occasionally a little suspect.

I can forgive a lot for dinosaurs though \o/
