Grandmothers and mangos.

My grandmother threw out our mangos because she saw a black spot on the skin and insisted that they were rotten.
My dad, of course, told her he just cut those things off and that we only ate the good parts, but she didn't believe him, nope.
While my dad was out, she scraped off the mangos, buried the pits in the bottom of the trash can, and hid the ( Read more... )

Haha, reminds me of the time I threw out all the blueberry bagels because I saw green spots and thought it was mold. Eventually, I learned the green was from the blueberries leaving color behind.

Give your grandma research.

I would except she's an Asian grandmother and very stubborn. My dad tried to explain but no dice.
