Grandmothers and mangos.
My grandmother threw out our mangos because she saw a black spot on the skin and insisted that they were rotten.
My dad, of course, told her he just cut those things off and that we only ate the good parts, but she didn't believe him, nope.
While my dad was out, she scraped off the mangos, buried the pits in the bottom of the trash can, and hid the plate.
We now have to hide our mangos from her. :/
