Yep. We've been given "discounts" for uniforms we buy directly from work, but unfortunately those prices are so high that it's cheaper just to hit Wal-Monster instead. It's irritating because if you work five eight-hour shifts per week, you need at least five uniforms lest ye be doing laundry every.single.day. So, five brand-new uniforms at fifty bucks a pop is two hundred fifty bucks...which I'd much rather spend on a new ipod, especially considering all the (now useless) uniforms I already have.

2] The dementia patients can be the best and the worst. It can be, in it's own strange way, a little breath of fresh air. It can also be hell, as the patient you mentioned sounds. And I always feel so horribly for them. My grandfather had it for years and I remember praying over and over that he had no clue what was going on, other than what surfaced. Bad enough to think your family is suddenly oyt to get you, but add in that somewhere in your brain you know that's not what's real and you're helpless to stop it? :shudders:
3] I didn't read Da Vinci because the cits I heard about it held no appeal. The movie trailer, however, looks amazing. lol.
Here's hoping you get some sort of break over your weekend!
