Fry is nearby, apparently role playing a scenario with himself.

He's not having much success. It's difficult being two people at once, and looks more like he's talking to himself.

Tiwa asks when she looks up to get more milo.

In a seat nearby, Maria's sleep deprived self is curled up in a chair of her own, her body partially covered with an old jacket of her father's.

As the boy reads, she eyes him, thinking he must be the first person she's seen here around her own age and wondering if her cold flashes will ever stop long enough for her to possibly interact with him.

The detective is getting chased through buildings in New York City, so William's deep into the story.

After a while he does notice the feeling of someone watching him, after what happened with Wade, he's even more alert and glances around.

For a moment, she dipped her head as he finally looked up and glanced around, feeling ashamed for interrupting him. After all, she knew what it felt like to stared at herself.

Correcting herself though, she quickly swiped loose strands of hair from her eyes and looked up again with a smile she hoped could be interpreted as apologetic.

His hat's resting on a table so he nods to her and smiles shyly, maybe he's bothering her,

"Hello, did you want to be closer to the fire?"

There is a man in the door.

He's not new. He's seen the bar before however in the swinging light of the lamp his eyes look almost blank.

And his clothes (Black suit, tie, trenchcoat) are stained with blood.

Well dammit. He didn't expect this. There's no food in here. Not the way he likes it.

Tiwa can almost feel the pressure of a vampire, but there are so many here, she's given up on worrying too much.

The problem is when she looks up and spots him. Her reaction is pure instinct as she drops her drink and goes directly up into the rafters.

Is Ramen. :D And iether is fine.

Norris looks up at the ceiling smelling...something new.

These heightened senses are a kick. It was cocaine, it was morphine. It was all the terrible wonderful things he'd never had as a human.

However, it's probably hard to be reassuring with a mouthful of teeth and those deep black eyes.

Tiwa's a bird fae creature who's had vampire issues, she's a bundle of nerves,

"No, you are. I'm not for eating,"

Her bravery is built on shakiness, but its there almost.

The small stack goes tumbling down as a kitten goes scrambling trying to right itself.

Trever manages to catch the books, if not the kitten, who lands with a startled squeek on William.

William jumps, reaching for his gun before he realizes its a kitten on him,

"Damn, watch it."

The kitten clings like a mad thing to William. PLEASE DON'T LET ME FALL EVEN THOUGH I CAN TELEPORT OUT OF THE WAY AND LAND ON MY FEET I'M JUST A CUTE LITTLE BALL OF FUZZ.

Its a very cute kitten and his shirt is fuzzy and has lots of good things for gripping,

"Calm down, ain't doin' anything to you. I'm fine, think the cat's more scared than me."

Travis has been slowly getting over the weirdness of this place. Which, he's slowly started to find out, is actually kind of interesting.

Okay, so it keeps showing up in his brother's bedroom. That's always going to be a bit odd.

He spots Tiwa on the sofa and twists to look at the cover of her book.

"What's that one?" he asks curiously.

"Hm, oh Guardian of the Dead, its good,"

She turns over the book which has a cover with a white mask on it.

"Is it?" He looks at the cover, not really able to get much from it. "What's it about?"

His accent is London, almost a bit Cockney.

Hers is quite New Zealand,

"A girl outside Christchurch trying to figure out boys and magic."
