Fry (OC)/Holbyverse/Bar

Fry is out in the garden behind the bar, working out on the training dummies.

He's not quite as tall as them yet, but appears to be making a reasonable attempt at it.

"Yes! Give them hell!" Teja shouts, cheerfully. He's sitting on the swing, kicking idly.

[sandhu_kids]

Fry ends his sparring with a strong kick to the dummy's abdomen, then steps back and bows.

He then turns to face Teja.

"Hi."

[ostro_goth]

"They're quaking on the ground before you!" Teja cheers, hopping off the swing.

"Angus was going to the forest. He said he found a plum tree there with really sweet fruit. Want to come and have a look?"

"Was that sarcasm?" Fry asks.

He nods. "All right. So long as we wash them before we eat them."

[sandhu_kids]

Fry kicks the dummy where its diaphragm would be, then turns to her.

"I'm training so that I can teach Lenny some moves that take down an opponent without causing significant damage." he says. "I will need to be in good shape because he is a lot bigger than me."

[sandhu_kids]

"Because where I'm from, people can get done for using 'undue force' in self defence." Fry says. "Unlike where you're from, where I'm led to believe you can shoot people."

He stretches slightly.

"I got arrested once for defending my friend James from being mugged by a gang of fourteen year olds because I flipped one too hard and made him knock himself out on the pavement."

[little_troven]

Training dummies are not something Alec has seen before, nor this other boy. With his usual curiosity, he goes over and stands politely out of the way, watching Fry attacking them.

Fry kicks out at the dummy, and stops.

He looks around.

"Are you waiting for a turn?"

[little_troven]

Alec shakes his head. "No. I was watching you."

[sandhu_kids]

"Oh. Would you like me to continue?"
