The end of the semester's coming up fast. And while that does mean exams are looming, Angel's more inclined to brush those off to one side if he needs to in order to figure out this 'now what?' business.
He's got a few options on where to go, at least.

Late afternoon, and he's finished with most of his papers. As good an excuse as any to give Angel a call.

He drums his hands on the desk while waiting for him to pick up.

There's a moment before Angel decides to pick up the phone and be done with it. If it's someone he wants to talk to, the life stuff can wait; if it's not, he knows how to hang up.
"Hello?"

"Hey. That good of a day?"

"I've had worse. Mostly I was hoping this wasn't my parents or anything."
They're still blissfully unaware of the entire mess. But for what it's worth, Angel sounds much more relaxed now that he knows who it is.
