The pen lands somewhere underneath my table. In the midst of my trying to acquaint myself with this place, I ... might've noticed it rolling for a couple of seconds now.
Well, I noticed the book the girl was reading first. Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass is one of my favourites.
Oh great. Just what she needs. She's not even made it back to talk with Fuz or her dad, and here's Rachel.
"Hi," she says, voice flat as it usually gets when dealing with Rachel. Don't give 'em an inch, Anna-Sophia. They'll walk a fucking mile. Her mother's voice rings in her ears.
He might pout if she's able to really hear him once he's picked up his training. He wants to sneak up on people, damnit! And ordinary guards don't count!
Pretending is nice, at least.
"Hello, my wonderful Anna-Sophia." He likes the proper kiss. After the kiss, he shifts over the booths to settle into the booth next to her. "I'm always glad to see you too. What are you working on?"
Adam and Joey had been tearing around Joey's mansion as per usual, chasing one another pell-mell from room to room. They don't even realize that the abrupt change of scenery, or the face that this is not the ballroom, until they run headlong into a patron, and that patron happens to be Suz.
"Whoa there, boys," she says, slightly winded. She looks them over, a matched pair like hers back home. "You should watch out a bit more. Who knows who you could have tripped over."
She takes a breath. She isn't quite used to anyone outright challenging her; being the heir of the Chosen Mord'Sith, and from a land that knows Mord'Sith, she's fairly used to not needing to show force.
A look normally is enough.
Her hand slides to her Agiel, lightly touching it.
"It would make for an unfortunate evening," she says, almost bored.

I lean forward to pick it up.

That, and she hasn't been paying much attention to it. Not really.

"I didn't know magical places could have slightly wonky table legs. But then, I don't exactly have a lot of experience with ... magical things."

She offers a hand.

"I thought you'd be here."

This is not going to be good.
"What do you want, Rachel? I'm kinda busy."

His sister will be next, at some point when the min has had sleep, so beware?

Though, she'll pretend.
"Hello, Michael," she says, turning and giving him a proper kiss. "I'm glad to see you."

She leans against him as soon as he's settled. "I'm trying to figure out the best way to tell Dad and Fuz. It's not going well."

Surprise, Suzie?

Joey just grins up at her with a familiar infectious smile.

"It's alright. The best way to make up for it is to have root beer floats with me." She waves to a waitrat. "I'm sure you boys like those, right?"
What kid doesn't?

It draws Chainsaw's attention.
Also, you know, all the leather. That's worth a second glance too.
(ooc: couldn't resist throwing a torturer at the Mord'Sith!)

There's only one person that can sneak up on her, and all he wants is to give his older sister sneak-attack hugs. It's awkward.
"Your eyes have misplaced your drink," she says, not even looking at him. "They should find it again."

He smirks.
"And what if they don't?"
