Angel's nearby - really, it's damn hard to keep these two apart - though he doesn't announce his presence, just yet.
Even after talking to Val and Sara (particularly Sara), he's still rather pleased with life. Such as it is, anyway.

He hasn't had a chance to talk to Sara as of yet, but he's got the prospective Vegas trip in mind.

But he hasn't noticed Angel just yet. It's quite possible the previous night's activities have affected cognitive function in a small way.

Well, that and he's got a book. Books imply not paying much mind to one's surroundings.
...Speaking of which, funny how quietly you can walk in four-inch heels, when you're used to them...
