And who seems to have a certain appreciation for genius. And long story short, friends and neighbors, Topher Brink is about to become the new head of R&D at the Los Angeles Dollhouse.
Topher's happy almost to the point of giddy. Beyond kid-in-a-candy-store; this is all the way to kid-in-Wonka's-Chocolate-Factory.
"No." She wraps her arms around herself. "She hurt me in DC. And they made Daniel kill his handler. And -- you make us fall in love, you give us families and lives," she says, almost like a litany, "and you think you can make it all go away and we won't care, but that's not how it works."
Still eyeing him, Echo sits back down and starts in on her sandwich again.
