It was a beautiful day in California, and after smoking a bowl of purple haze, Jane had decided that she was going to take advantage of it by taking a dip in the pool

Hearing the man speak up, Jane instantly freaked out. "What? What did I do?!" She asked loudly as she waved her arms frantically with worry that a bee was on her or something. There was no exact reason for why a bee would be around her, but she thought that one was.
[OOC: Sorry if I'm tagging late, but Reed's PB + just having finished watching this movie = I couldn't resist. Feel free to ignore if I'm too late.]
On the one hand, Reed really wishes that Milliways would be a bit more, oh - discerning about the people it let in.
On the one hand, what the girl is wearing certainly has his attention. He can't wait for the future sometimes. No girl in the fifties would be caught dead in such a get-up, and that just isn't fair at all.
Jane's eyes skim over the place slowly, but when she reaches Reed, they automatically open wide. Despite not having dreads or wearing a wife beater, she knows it's Steve. It has to be Steve.

The real question, though, is how on earth she's mistaking him for someone she knows? He doubts very much that this girl spends time with anyone who has Reed's sophistication and impeccable taste in clothing.
Still, though, he is bored, so he only needs a couple seconds to reach a decision.
"Oh, I felt like it was time for a change, you know how it is," he says, with a bright and somewhat idiotic smile that mirrors hers fairly well (he thinks).
"Yeah, man, I got you. I kind of miss the tattoo action and everything, but I get it. Just don't move up your prices on me. I mean, I know this nice shit is expensive." Jane rambled a bit.
