In New Zealand, its May 1st and Tiwa didn't expect to find the Bar in her kitchen so she slips through on her bare feet

It has been a long while since Eleanor had found her way to the bar, and this evening she's glad of it as the weather was absolutely horrid.

Overcoat wet and dripping, she heads towards the fire and nods a polite greeting to the other young woman there.

"I have heard of something like that, yes. I'm more familiar with Elementals though, than Fae."

[pi_wakawaka]

"Know a bit about them too, so you can talk to the fire?"

[eleanors_fire]

"Not exactly. I can control the fire and if there's an elemental in there, which there doesn't seem to be at the moment, then I can talk to them."

She glances at the fire for a moment, then looks back at Tiwa.

"Elementals can be controlled by a mage who's powerful enough, but it isn't really recommended as the Elementals tend to resent that. It's better to have them assist willingly."

(OOC: I just realized where Eleanor's from, I feel so stupid since its my favorite of the Elemental Masters' books *facepalms.)

"That makes sense, no one wants their wings clipped and not enough people know to be polite."

Tiwa actually smiles now,

"Kind of how the sky feels different in other places, just get to know it."

[eleanors_fire]

(*giggles*)

She nods, "Exactly. It's not fair to force them to do something they don't want." Which she was far too familiar with herself.

"The sky?" she asks, curiosity piked now. "Are you an Air Mage?"

"Mage, no not me, know the sky other ways. Yup, tales are always right about that, be polite because you never know who or what you're talking to."

[eleanors_fire]

"Know the sky how? If you don't mind me asking. And my friend Sarah would say the same. I never knew how many things are really out there until I started getting my powers."

Now Tiwa does grin and its a little cheeky,

"Told you before if you were listening. Don't mind you asking but me and the truth have some issues."

[eleanors_fire]

She grins slyly back. "Fae, aren't you?"

[pi_wakawaka]

"Do get called pooka sometimes."

[eleanors_fire]

"I'm not familiar with that term. What does it mean?"

[pi_wakawaka]

"Close your eyes and I'll show you."

[eleanors_fire]

There didn't seem any reason not to trust the other girl, so Eleanor nodded. "All right," and then closed her eyes.

There's a feathery sound and then a light tug on Eleanor's hair from the little bird that's now on her shoulder.

Her eyes pop open and she smiles. "Oh, I see. You can change. You're a very cute little bird."
