Ethan and Jerry Shaw, Eagle Eye, Multiversal Bar

Sep 27, 2008 13:32

This is something you don't see everyday.

No seriously.

Two people are in the bar.

One doesn't look completely phased to be here. He's wearing the same Air-Force Fatigues, that faint five o'clock shadow, and a faint smirk.

The smirk is primarily focused on the guy who looks exactly like him standing directly beside him ( Read more... )

"Now don't that sound familiar," says an amused voice. The smile fades from Adrian's features as he catches sight of the speaker, and the one who's not speaking.

"... shit, sir, there's two of you?"

Jerry blinks, turning to his brother, "You made friends in a bar at the end of the universe? You realize mom is going to freak."

"Jerry."

Ethan's voice is calm, serious. He'd make one hell of a parent.

He motions for Shepard to take a seat, "...Corporal-ah-meet my twin brother Jerry. Jerry? This is Corporal Shepard."

"Oh," says Shephard. Twins he can deal with. "Good to meet you, Jerry. First time?"

he's heard other introductions since that bastard in the suit stuck him here. That's a fairly common question.

Arnold was really just walking around, but he double-takes at the two copies of the guy he met earlier. Whut?

"There's two of you now!"

Jerry doesn't like this.

He's in a situation with his holier-then-thou older sibling where everybody apparently knows they exist. It's like Cheers without a laugh track. He stares pointedly at the kid, "You got a problem with that?"

"Jerry!"

Ethan offers Arnold a friendly smile, "...I'm full of surprises. Meet my twin brother Jerry."

His brow furrows, glaring at his brother, "Be nice."

"Hi, Jerry! I'm Arnold."

And have a hand to shake. City-kid Arnold shall remained unphased by unfriendliness!

The green girl at the bar gives Ethan (and Jerry, by extension) a wave.

This is an interesting development.

Ethan's motives are not entirely pure when he waves her over. It probably has something to do with he and Jerry just coming out of a Bejing Courthouse. (Don't ask, it's a very long story).

"...Trindle right? C'mere! I'd like you to meet my brother!"

He might just be smirking.

She hops up from her spot, still wrapped up in several layers of thick black material, and nods.

"How are you doing, Ethan?"

Jerry can't resist. He's trying to be funny and maybe-just maybe-his attention is devoted to the fact that she's a Girl rather then anythign else, "Hey-I'm Jerr-woah."

He stares,"Do you know you're ah-uh-"

Someone is chuckling to himself a few booths down. He isn't exactly laughing at them, but he is faintly amused at the freaking.

"Don't do this Jerry."

People in this bar have scary powers.. Ethan glances back, offering hopeful Please don't kill him. signals.

He's a bit too old to really be troubled by a young buck's insecurities.

"No, I just... remember how awkward my own introduction was."

He stood, showing himself to be a rather tall man with a broad, solid frame. He walked over and nodded to each of them in greeting.

"Nicholas Connor," he introduced himself for the evening, holding out a hand.

"And welcome," he added to Jerry, as the child was obviously new, "to Milliways."
