Jenny (au version!) // Doctor Who // that place

Goddesses, even potential goddesses, do not allow themselves to be taken by surprise. Neither, for that matter, do Time Ladies.

At least, that's what Jenny believes the Master would tell her if she were to ever ask. Regardless, this clearly isn't her room. Nor does she recall her Master ever mentioning any bar on the TARDIS ( Read more... )

It's a good thing Arnold's still young enough to think girls are icky as a general principle. Otherwise Jenny's attire would be doing a real number on him.

As it is, he gives her a curious glance from his seat at the bar where he's enjoying a root beer float.

"Are you on your way to a party?"

Jenny looks over the boy, raising one eyebrow. Oh, they'll let anyone in here, won't they?

"No."

"Oh, well, you look very nice."

It's not as though she's the strangest person he's met in the bar, there's no point in not being polite.

"I'd hope so," she answers with a bright smile. It's an innocent enough looking smile. "I try to, every day!"

Well, that makes at least two of them that aren't too bad at covering their surprise, because the well-suited, scarred individual sitting at the bar right now simply shows his own interest by a slow arch of an eyebrow.

Young, blonde females in slinky numbers- especially black of all colours- still manages to be enough to catch Le Chiffre's attention. Apparently old habits never quite die, even after death.

Jenny is good at knowing when she's being stared at. It's a skill from her inheritance that the Master has taught her to hone over the years. So she turns slowly in her seat to look at him. Her eyes run over the length of his body before stopping back at his face.

Not bad.

With a giggle, "See something you like?"

Now that's a question he hasn't heard in quite some time. It even causes a slow smile to reach his lips, but never quite get so far as his odd eyes.

"Oh, I've certainly found something appealing," he remarks in return, tapping a cigarette from it's box, placing it to his lips and lighting up. Because when you're a villain, smoking is cool, clearly.

"Don't think I've seen you around here before.."

Cigarettes are such a disgusting human addiction. They provide none of the pleasure or thrill she finds from the hookah in the Master's opium den and none of the teasing aromas of the Livivian stub.

Perhaps said opinion shows in her eyes. Perhaps it doesn't.

Jenny shrugs and takes a small sip. "Big bar, isn't it? It'd be increadible if you could keep track of all the comings and goings."
