wes janson - star wars - bar.

Wes is pretty startled when he walks through the door and gets a magic bar instead of his bedroom. It's been a while, for him.

Not a long while, though -- his hair's a little shorter, a little neater, but it's the only difference -- and he smiles brightly after a few seconds and heads towards the Bar.

A smoothie and some cookies. That's what he

The door disappeared after Zekka was taken.

She watched it fade away. It frightened her...it was her future, gone. Because the Hannibals had taken Zekka and killed him. Or tortured him...probably resulting in his death. She'd stayed upstairs for a few days after that.

Only, even Inyri needs to eat after so many days of living off cigarettes. And she got tired of idly staring at the nail marks across her stomach. She showered, she brushed her teeth, made herself look presentable.

And then she proceeded to nearly eat her weight in the most random food the waitrats would bring her. And then Wes walked back in. She watched him (from across the bar; she'd chosen a dark corner booth) for a long moment before grabbing her sandwich and wandering up to him. "Hey."

He's sipping his smoothie, hasn't touched the little plate of cookies on the Bar yet, and he lowers the glass a little as he look around. His smile widens at the sight of Inyri. (There's only an edge of guilt beneath it.)

"Hey! You're still here. I didn't know if you would be."

"Can't leave, now." She murmurs, smiling awkwardly at him. "Uh, the door's gone. And...thanks the the events while you were gone, I'm not sure it's coming back..."

"--this place has a weird sense of irony," he says with a slight laugh.

It dies when he registers the rest.

"Wait, what happened? Are you okay?

Does he also need a head in a bag?

Because...

Well.

Hannibal doesn't have a head in a bag. He has a pen, a sketchpad, a seat by the fire, and a friendly smile.

His double has a head in a bag, however, and she'll be along in a moment.

Hannibal.

Female (although it takes a second to notice when you look at her, especially if you know her in her other shape; the two are close to identical).

Carrying, well, a bag.

It does not look like it has a head in it, unless you happen to be very experienced in the matter of heads being in bags, in which case what the hell is wrong with you?

But.

She just came in the door, located her double and Wes, and headed for the latter after a momentary glance to the former.

(Forgive her. She honestly doesn't remember she's a girl at the moment. Blame any resulting confusion on the management.)

Wes is not, it must be said, familiar with heads in bags at all. Apparently, he has led a sheltered life.

He starts to grin when he notices the Hannibal heading for him ... and then this turns into bewilderment. Wait, what?

"...you," he says with a confused frown, "have changed. I'm not that unobservant."

Hannibal blinks down at herself, and then looks back up again with a small, wry smile.

"I do that sometimes," she deadpans. "Have you seen Inyri?"

Very direct and to the point, is this girl.
