There's a handsome chap, in a sharp black suit, sitting by himself, with half a glass of something clear at his table.

Tap-tap-tap-tap go his fingers. Tap-tap-tap-tap.

"Why are you tapping? You should stop. It's annoying."

Tom Riddle is used to people doing what he tells them. Even adults.

Even in a place like this.

ooc: I hope it's not too late to tag? It can be brief and slow time is joy!

Sharp eyes look over at the boy.

His fingers don't stop.

Tap-tap-tap-tap.

"Why should I care that it annoys you?"

((ooc: never too late to tag! ...In my not-so-humble opinion. 'specially in MM. :D))

How boring. This isn't someone he can easily make do whatever he wants.

"Never mind." His features settle into a blank, but pleasant, facade. "I have a headache is all."

"That's a pity."

Tap-tap-tap-tap.

"Perhaps you should take something for it," he suggests.

A blonde girl a few tables over is humming while she sketches in a notebook.

The tune she hums harmonizes quite nicely with the tapping of that handsome chap's fingers.

This is (maybe) a coincidence.

Several measures pass before he appears to notice, his fingers stilling. He scans around the room, looking for the source of the humming.

"Quite the tune," he says, as he spots her.

She smiles.

"It's very catchy."

"Yes, it is," he agrees.
