Harry's still trying to get used to this place. He was trying to find this lake he'd heard about (he's curious about the squid), and apparently took a wrong turn somewhere near the library.
The fact that there's a gym in the bar (or a library) is a little startling, and he feels compelled to look around.
Unfortunately, he's not really paying attention to what's around him. That rack of weights that goes crashing to the ground is entirely accidental.
Bryce whirls, startled and on the alert. Once she determines that there's no immediate attack coming, though, she straightens, wiping sweat off her forehead.
The woman who steps into the gym looks a little familiar, and then again she doesn't. She is wearing grey sweatpants and a white tank top over a white sports bra; as the door closes behind her, she stands near it with her hands folded and watches Bryce.
The moment she hears the door open, Bryce starts pulling her punches. She's still light on her feet, and fast, and obviously fit, but the way she hits the bag suggests less violence.
It's just, you know, she comes in from a date, she doesn't really want to hang around downstairs in the hit-on-me zone. And she likes a good book, but today she's not feeling it.
She's heard there's a holodeck up here, but she finds the gym first.
When Bryce hears a step in the hallway, she starts pulling her punches -- still moving fast and light on her feet, but without so much force and violence behind each blow.
She hasn't turned to see who it is, yet. It doesn't matter who it is, for this: all that matters in this instant is preserving the facade.
Lois has been sitting in the same booth every time she's come into the Bar for a little while now. This means that in her head it is currently 'her table' and she has priority claims on it.
This is why, when the reporter heads for the table, she is busy scowling over a printout and doesn't see anyone else in the booth where she's currently setting her standard coffee and maple donut down.

"Fuck! Sorry! Fuck! Ow!"
He's got it!

"You okay?"

"Yeah, sorry. It didn't look like anyone was using these, so I thought I'd, you know. Make a big mess. How are you?"
Hey, at least he's trying to put everything back where it belongs.

Interesting.
She stops after a minute, catching her breath, and wipes sweat off her forehead.

Ivy pauses in the doorway.

She certainly has the means. But Ivy worries that these comic books might be biasing her unduly.
(Then again, they do get a lot of those little details right ...)
In the meantime, she watches Bryce hit stuff.

. . . Whoops. Well. Bryce didn't think she was making herself that unnoticeable. Force of habit, maybe.
Amused: "Hi?"

Which is how she manages to be in the middle of taking a bite of her donut when Bryce gets her attention.
Oops. "...Hi." Lois Lane is in no way turning slightly pink. She doesn't blush. Ever.

"Need someplace to sit?"
