Harry's still trying to get used to this place. He was trying to find this lake he'd heard about (he's curious about the squid), and apparently took a wrong turn somewhere near the library.
The fact that there's a gym in the bar (or a library) is a little startling, and he feels compelled to look around.
Unfortunately, he's not really paying attention to what's around him. That rack of weights that goes crashing to the ground is entirely accidental.
Bryce whirls, startled and on the alert. Once she determines that there's no immediate attack coming, though, she straightens, wiping sweat off her forehead.
He manages to get several of the smaller weights back up on the rack.
"I've already got two, but I wouldn't mind a little help," Harry says easily.
Speaking of hands, Bryce may notice that Harry's missing most of the ring finger on his left hand. He also looks a bit like he's just rolled out of bed, but that's somewhat normal for him.
Oh, god. Don't let him hear you say that. It'll go straight to his head. Harry tries not to be embarrassed at the fact that she's able to handle the heavier weights better than he is.
It's totally because he's still going through physio, though. At least, that's the excuse he keeps telling himself.
"Well, I was thinking the gym, but the bar works too. Whichever. I was trying to find the lake, but I seem to have got a bit lost. Unless the gym inside the bar also has a lake inside it."
"Yeah, I know right?" asks Harry. "I mean, I should have known something was up with this place when I found it in my boss' closet, but you know. Figured I'd give it the benefit of the doubt."

"Fuck! Sorry! Fuck! Ow!"
He's got it!

"You okay?"

"Yeah, sorry. It didn't look like anyone was using these, so I thought I'd, you know. Make a big mess. How are you?"
Hey, at least he's trying to put everything back where it belongs.

"Well, I'm always happy to help. Can you get that one? I think it goes on the bottom here."

He manages, but only just. He is a bit small and scrawny, in that stray dog sort of way.
"At the risk of sounding like a lame come-on, do you come here often?" he asks.

"What, to the bar or the gym?" she asks with a laugh, hauling another weight up onto the rack.

It wouldn't surprise him, actually.

He's starting to run out of the smaller weights. This could get embarrassing quickly.
"I only been coming here a few weeks, though. To the bar. I didn't even know it had a gym. Or a library. Who puts a library in a bar?"

Although, knowing him, Harry fully realises that the whole story about the squid could be complete bullshit. It is something he'd make up, after all.
This is the problem with having conversations with yourself, apparently.
