What, you didn't think the Beast actually existed? Some unfortunate victim of a spell somewhere in time?

Think again.

He taps his walking stick against the brick and as the bricks fall away, so does the glamor cast over him to hide his appearance in the Muggle world.

Penelope's robes are very fitted, very stylish, and very ... gray.

But that may not be as pertinent as the fact that she's just dropped all her books in front of this--

Well, that may have been a little bit why she dropped all her books.

"Oh Merlin, I'm sorry--"

"Ah, my apologies Mmse," he growls, bending down.

He picks up the books very carefully, one at a time, and is very careful when he hands them to her.

He has-- such a very distinctive profile. Penny can't help being intrigued, although staring is rude and it isn't as if she's conducting a study or anything.

She accepts her books, very carefully.

"Thank you," she says, "um, mister--"

While the young man in jeans is technically a wizard, he usually opts for the slightly douchey but general catch-all title of 'mage.'

Also: he's delighted.

"Oh, well done, universe," he says, glancing down the block.

Of all the places he's been randomly tossed into, this one is so winni-- is that ice cream?

A woman with long dark hair and a wand sticking out of her ponytail comes out of a door on the left tucking a few pair of socks into a bag on her shoulder. She probably should be paying attention, because she's about to run smack into the young man in front of her. Oops.

Well that's okay! As it happens, Matt has highly developed crowd navigation sk--

"Oof."

He staggers back a step or two, blinking, and looks at the new arrival.

... And decides to get out of the doorway. Alleydoor?

"Oh whoa, I'm sorry," he says, and points vaguely towards the socks. "Do you want any ...?"

"Oh, crap." The woman sticks the socks in her bag fully. "Sorry about that. I was thinking more about Quidditch and my socks with holes in them than where I was going." She finally takes stock of him fully. "I haven't seen you around here before. Are you a tourist?" Her accent is quite American with a tiny hint of British.

It's been a while since Mia's been to Diagon Alley. She and Cepheus volunteered for the trip to pick up some supplies for Draco's potions. It's Cepheus's first trip proper to Diagon Alley and he's having a great time looking at everything.

"Ice keem?" Cepheus asks, spying the shop and walking a bit towards it, tethered only by his mother's hand.

"Perhaps when we're done," Mia answers. "First we have to get some things for Daddy."

Come and explore with them?

Fry has no idea how he got here. It's one of those 'got the wrong portal from Bar' occasions.

Somehow he ended up down some dodgy looking side street, Hurrifyk Alley or something, where he's now being chased by a pair of muggers.

He legs it through the alley, towards what seems to be light at the end of the tunnel, and leaps dramatically over some crates about twenty metres from where Mia and Cepheus are.

One of the muggers catches up with him, grabs him by the arm, then yells as Fry throws him over his shoulder.

Yeah, Cepheus isn't happy about the commotion he can hear happening some yards away. He begins to blubber a bit and clings to Mia, wanting her to pick him up.

Mia would check it out but she has a fussy baby now.

Fry tries to block a succession of spells with the remains of a crate, gets hit with an Impedimenta, and falls over.

The muggers descend on his pockets, but finding nothing of interest and starting to draw attention from members of the public, scarper to escape the flurry of retaliation from Fry.

The nice thing about having errands to run is it gives Regulus a legit excuse to get out of the house and away from his mother for a while. (And away from Kreacher; his mother tried to stick him with the house elf, but why do that when he can have anything he can't carry shipped home?)
At the moment, though, he's taking a break. He's been at this for a while, and the day calls for ice cream.

Anne mightn't have the most points in Sneaky, but when Regulus is engrossed in ice cream, well, she has a good chance to walk up behind him. She had been doing some shopping for Quidditch supplies, because someone keeps stealing her socks.

Reaching out, she carefully puts a hand on his shoulder.

He doesn't jump - the House of Black is not so crass as to do that in public - but Anne knows him well enough to know she's startled him. It's all there on his face if one knows what they're looking for.
But then he sees it's her, and smiles. "Oh. Hello."

"Sorry." Anne smiles at him, then sits down across the table. "Mind if I join you?"

Tiwa's heard about Diagon Alley from James but never actually been here herself.

She's grinning as she tries to look at everything at once and her feet keep leaving the ground, but soon she's in a long discussion with the birds at the owl post and the pet shop.

In the middle of a large pile of moving shopping bags there is a girl with blue hair.

This is ending up slightly trickier than she had planned on when it comes to moving her purchases.

"Need some help? What did you get?"

Tiwa asks as she moves around Ako, there's a suggestion of feathers on her arms and in her hair.

"Um, too much?"

Last question first it is!

"Please! I think I can sort it out better if I can just..."

There's be a shrug or a small flail here, but she really has managed to fill her hands completely.
