Well, after my unsuccessful attempt to try out for the Olympics last Sunday, I am doing pretty well.  I "graduated" myself from the walker to a cane - I get the extra support I need for my ankle and it is much easier to get up and down the steps, not that I'm going up and down steps all that often.  I did have to drive on Wednesday to San Francisco ( Read more... )

Today started off OK.  I think I slept well enough, but I didn’t wear my mask so I was a bit tired.  Ian and I took off to Ian’s lesson in SF, and then I spent some time at Starbucks while he had theory and quartet rehearsal. Ken passed away yesterday about 1pm. Ian and I were by his side, and he went quietly.  Rest in peace, my love and and keeper of my heart. I will miss you and remember you all my days.

I post so much about all the troubles we have that I thought it only fair to post a good post when we have a good day. And today was a VERY good day. The mailbox was full and I even had a card at the post office. My yummy tea I can only get online had come, along with Claudia’s urn and some SFBC books we didn’t cancel in time. Oops.
