KIZUNA

“Because I like you.” A boy said. “On the Valentine Day, I’ll tell you the truth.”
The truth?
Jaejoong watched all his classmates had already walked out of the classroom as the bell rang, some of them even running happily as they wanted to come home eagerly or doing something with their date as today was Valentine day but not for him. He just stayed in the now empty classroom, staring into nothing.
He slummed down on his seat and sighed heavily before he leaned forward and rest his head on the desk.
“Hyung, are you alright?” Changmin asked worriedly when he walked into Jaejoong’s class and saw his best friend was sitting alone on his seat, face buried on his arms that were resting on the desk and he quickly rushed to him.
Jaejoong didn’t even look at the younger boy. He merely mumbled incoherently, making Changmin raised his eyebrows in confusion.
“Is that because of the news this morning?” Changmin asked as he sat down on the seat in front of Jaejoong, frowning a little as he rested his hands on Jaejoong’s desk.
Jaejoong sighed deeply before he nodded.
“Are you mad at Yunho-hyung?”
Jaejoong looked up and stared at Changmin thoughtfully.
“Is it a yes?”
“Maybe.” Jaejoong countered.
“But why?” Changmin asked in disbelief as he raised an eyebrow. “I don’t think it’s the right thing to go mad at him because of that. It’s just his past. If I were you, I wouldn’t mad. I’m sure he has changed now.”
“I know okay.” Jaejoong huffed as he rolled his eyes. “It’s just… aish! How should I say this?” he ruffled his hair in frustration.
“Wuaa-calm down hyung.” Changmin coaxed him as he grabbed Jaejoong’s wrist, preventing him to mess his hair.
“I’m not mad at him because of his past.” Jaejoong said after he calmed down. “It’s just… why didn’t he tell me sooner? So I’d know it from him, not from that boy who exaggerated everything.” He rolled his eyes.
“Oh…” Changmin mumbled as he nodded. “Maybe he’s still looking for the right time to tell you. You know, it’s easy to say but hard to do.” He pointed out.
“I think you’re right.” Jaejoong sighed heavily. “So, what do I do now?”
“Erm… Find him?” Changmin tilted his head to the side.
“Yea, but where?”
Changmin merely shrugged.
“Yah! You’re no help.” Jaejoong pouted as he slapped Changmin’s shoulder softly.
“Well, I’m not his boyfriend but you are.” Changmin retorted and Jaejoong mock glared at him. “But before you go, where is my chocolate?” he grinned widely.
Jaejoong merely rolled his eyes. “Food-monster.” He commented as he took out a box of chocolate from the paper bag and handed it to him.
“Thank you hyung.” Changmin grinned from ear to ear.
“You’re welcome.” Jaejoong couldn’t help but smiled as he ruffled Changmin’s hair, really thankful to the younger boy.

A boy was staring outside of the window as he sat down on the floor, eyes gleaming with an unknown emotion as he thought about the past.
The accident that made Jaejoong’s eyes hurt was caused of him. And when he wanted to visit him, he was forbidden by Jaejoong’s family so he would sneak to his room only to see him, every night.
“Who is that?” the boy who was sitting up on the bed asked when he heard the door being opened and he smiled. “Hey, come in. I’m alone and it feels so lonely.” He chuckled.
Jaejoong said that while giving him a smile he had never seen before. Without Jaejoong realized who he was, he talked to him with his soft-cheerful voice. He didn’t know why, but Jaejoong considered him as his friend and thus, making him honest to himself.
“You’re also a patient of this hospital?”
If only Jaejoong knew who he was, he bet that Jaejoong wouldn’t want to show him his warm smile; he wouldn’t want to meet him again. And those very thoughts made his heart clenched in pain.
“Ah, you cannot speak?” Jaejoong smiled as he wailed his hands and Yunho grabbed them. “Is it a yes?”
Because of that, he only stayed beside him, accompanied him without saying anything.
“How do you look like? You must be kind and cool right?” he chuckled.
And he wanted-at least-become a person who he expected. But still, he wanted him to accept him from who he was.
“Hey you!” Jaejoong’s brother exclaimed. “You’re the rascal boy who caused my brother got into accident right!?” a slap. “Go away! Don’t come near him again!” a push.
But he didn’t give up, even after his mother asked him to and the constant shouting of Jaejoong’s brother, he still came to the hospital, only to saw Jaejoong’s bed was empty and he was told by the nurse that the patient had transferred into one of hospital in Japan.
“Appa was transferred to another office in the neighbor town so we have to move Yunho honey.”
And he also moved but he couldn’t forget the boy. That was why he determinedly promised in his heart that when he got a chance to meet him again, he had to show him the real him, the real Jung Yunho.
But apparently, everything didn’t go as he wanted.
“What are you doing here?”
A voice interrupted his thought and Yunho quickly turned around only to see Jaejoong standing at the door of his class. He moved further away from the door and leaned his back against the foot of the table.
“Yunho-”
“What I want to say had been told by them.” Yunho started, cutting him off. “So, you don’t have anything to do with me again.”
Yunho quickly looked outside while Jaejoong looked at him in disbelief.
Jaejoong walked over to Yunho but the latter moved further away and he sighed. “But you’re also resembled with the boy in the hospital who always looks after me.” he countered and Yunho sniffed. “At least, I should say my thanks. Really, thank you.”
“What are you talking about? You’ve forgotten that anyway.”
“Erm…” Jaejoong murmured. “To be honest, yes I have.” He confirmed and nodded thoughtfully. “Because I’ve never take something that I don’t like.” he didn’t realize that his words had pricked Yunho’s heart deeply.
Jaejoong looked down at Yunho who was sulking at the corner of the room and he sighed. He pulled out a box of chocolate from the paper bag, neatly wrapped with a red ribbon tied around it. “Here. I brought chocolate for you. And there is an extra because I also put the thanksgiving chocolate into it. I made these myself Yunho ya~” he said teasingly and playfully.
“I don’t need it.” Yunho countered firmly.
“Eh?”
“I don’t need your sympathy.”
Jaejoong stared at Yunho’s back for a while, before he started to unwrap the ribbon around it. “You really don’t want this? It’s so tasty.” After the ribbon was off, he quickly opened the box and threw the cover onto the floor. “Come on. Don’t be so stubborn. You better eat it now.” he took a small piece of the chocolate. “Don’t worry. Eat this little piece won’t make you fat.”
Yunho’s eyes twitched at that and he turned around abruptly. “Shut up!” he exclaimed but only to see something beyond his imagination.
“If you don’t eat it now, you’re losing out.” Jaejoong said teasingly as he smeared the chocolate on his finger onto his mouth, cycling it lopsided heart.
Yunho gulped, eyes staring at Jaejoong’s lips.
“The pack is so attracted, yes?”
“…”
“…”
“Yes.”
And Jaejoong merely smiled when Yunho pulled him into a hug before he pushed him down, bringing his back lay softly onto the cold floor.
Yunho kissed his lips softly and licked the chocolate around his mouth, making Jaejoong chuckled in tickles.
“How is it?” Jaejoong asked as he pulled back, grinning and raising his eyebrows playfully.
“It’s taste nice.” Yunho grinned back.
Jaejoong couldn’t help but laughed and Yunho shut it off with his lips before he trailed his kisses to his neck playfully.
“Ng-” He moaned when Yunho licked his neck, occasionally biting it. He brought his hands to Yunho’s back, hugging him tightly. “Hahaha.” He laughed as he felt tickles when Yunho’s hand sneaked into his shirt, caressing his skin.
Yunho brought his lips back to Jaejoong’s lips and kissed him affectionately. After a while, he pulled back, eyes staring into Jaejoong’s. “I want to eat it all.” He said earnestly. “Can I?” he asked, grinning a little.
Jaejoong laughed at that before he pulled Yunho down and kissed him fully. “Sure. I don’t mind.”
It was the answer that Yunho wanted to hear before he gladly returned the kiss with much more eagerness and they processed to move into another level.

“Hey hyung!”
Jaejoong stopped walking and turned around when he heard someone calling him. “Yes?”
“Where were you last night?” Changmin asked as he put both his hands on his thighs, panting a little. “Your brother called me and asked your whereabouts.”
“Ah…” Jaejoong mumbled as he nodded. “What did you answer then?”
“Well, I cannot lie so I told him I didn’t know where you were.” Changmin countered as he followed Jaejoong walking towards their class. “So, tell me. Where were you?” he asked, demanding the older boy to tell him.
Jaejoong merely shrugged as he walked over to his seat and placed his book bag beside his chair, sitting on the chair blissfully.
“Yah!” Changmin exclaimed indignantly as he pouted, totally not liking when Jaejoong ignored him. “Hyung~” he whined as he stood in front of Jaejoong’s seat, hands resting onto his table.
Jaejoong still didn’t respond as he shifted a little.
“What…” Changmin trailed off, frowning when he saw Jaejoong sat uncomfortable on the wooden chair and it was then the realization hit him straight on his head. He nodded thoughtfully as his mouth form an ‘o’ and he smirked, having a way to tease the older boy.
“Why are you shifting on your seat like that, hyung?” he inquired, raising an eyebrow.
“Eh? Oh…” Jaejoong muttered as he shifted once again, trying to find a comfortable position. “It’s nothing. Just the chair isn’t comfortable enough for me.” He retorted.
“Really~?” Changmin asked suspiciously, smirking a little.
“Yes.” Jaejoong confirmed as he nodded.
“Pssh.” Changmin sneered. “Don’t you think that I don’t know why, hyung. I can figure it out. I know that you have los-”
“Gyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!” Jaejoong suddenly screamed, cutting Changmin off and lifting his hands to his ears.
“Jaejoong ah!”
Changmin blinked his eyes in surprise when he saw Yunho stormed off towards his class.
The older boy quickly rushed to his boyfriend’s side. “Jae! What happen? Why are you screaming? Are you okay?” he asked frantically as he pulled Jaejoong up and turned him around, checking if there were any injuries on his body.
Jaejoong’s cheeks turned red, feeling embarrassing when the others students looked towards his way. He slapped Yunho’s hand and sat down again.
“Hoi!” Yunho exclaimed as he frowned. “Answer me!”
“It’s nothing, really.” Jaejoong said nonchalantly.
Yunho looked at Jaejoong intently and he wondered out loud. “Why, does your ass still hurt?”
“Yunho!” Jaejoong shouted quickly as he covered Yunho’s mouth and looked around, eyeing the others if they heard what Yunho had said. He sighed in relief when no one looked at them as they were busy doing another thing.
“My guess is right.” Changmin started as he chuckled and Jaejoong glared at him. “Tsktsk, already did it, hm?” he raised his eyebrows playfully and smirked.
“Shut up.” Jaejoong hissed as he uncovered Yunho’s mouth and brought his hand to his trouser, wiping it.
Changmin chuckled as he looked at Yunho, at Jaejoong, and back to Yunho before he burst out laughing.
“Why…” Jaejoong trailed off as he looked at Changmin in confusion and saw the youngest boy has his eyes on Yunho so he turned to look at the older boy and he couldn’t help but bit his lips to stifle his laughter.
“Yah! Don’t laugh!” Yunho exclaimed as he wiped his drool, the red blush never left his face.
--.--.--.--.--.--.--.--.
Two boys were walking out of their school and they made their way towards their house. The taller boy had his arm around the shorter boy’s shoulder, keeping him close to him.
“Hoi Jae.” Yunho started and Jaejoong looked at him. “Don’t you regret it? I mean, you, become my boyfriend.” He asked hesitantly as he pulled out his arm from Jaejoong’s shoulder and looked down.
“Why, no I don’t.” Jaejoong countered as he shook his head.
“Really?” Yunho quickly looked up at him, his face beaming. “So, we’re still dating?”
Jaejoong stopped in his track and looked at him in disbelief before he walked away, leaving the older boy behind.
“Hoi!” Yunho exclaimed as he paced his steps and walked beside the younger boy. “Don’t walk away from me, understand?!” he asked or more like a demand.
Jaejoong gasped in surprise at the other’s tone and he stammered. “Ah, ye-yes, I understand.” He nodded his head furiously.
“Che!” Yunho spat as he walked away but halt his steps when he realized what he had done. “Damn!” he cursed as he turned around and walked over. “Sorry.” He said as he stood in front of Jaejoong.
“It’s okay.” Jaejoong countered as he walked and Yunho followed him beside him. “I figure it’s hard for you to change that habit of yours.”
“Sorry.” Yunho mumbled. “But hey! You haven’t answered my question!” He quickly changed the subject, not wanting to talk about that matter.
“What question?” Jaejoong asked as he frowned a little.
“We’re still dating, right?”
Jaejoong stopped in his track once again, looking at Yunho as if he was an alien. “What do you think?” he asked back.
“Well…” Yunho trailed off as he stretched the back of his head. “I won’t know if you don’t say it.”
“I have given my first to you, Yunho.” Jaejoong countered with a sigh and Yunho frowned in confusion.
“You have given your first to me?”
Jaejoong nodded embarrassingly but sighed heavily when he saw Yunho was staring at him in confusion. “Don’t you know the meaning of it?” he asked as he snorted.
“Erm…” Yunho mumbled thoughtfully. “You aren’t a virgin anymore?” he asked dumbly.
With that, Jaejoong just walked away, head shaking in disbelief.
“Hoi!” Yunho exclaimed as he ran after Jaejoong. “Just say it in simple word, please.”
“Okay. Here it is.” Jaejoong sighed as he looked up at Yunho. “I won’t give my first to someone that I don’t consider it as the one for me.”
“So, we’re still dating?”
“Yes.” Jaejoong confirmed as he nodded.
Yunho couldn’t help but beamed. “I love you.” he said firmly.
“Eh?”
“I love you.” He repeated.
“…”
“I love you.”
“…”
“Hoi!” Yunho exclaimed. He was impatient to hearing the three words from the youngest boy. “Say that you love me too!” he added, demanding a little.
“A-ah, yes yes.” Jaejoong countered as he nodded his head furiously. “I love you too.” He sighed a little, wondering why he still felt a slight afraid when the other boy threatened him though they were dating.
“Good.” Yunho grinned as he walked away, feeling satisfied at his boyfriend’s answer.
Jaejoong sighed once again and he wondered randomly of how many times he had sighed in a day. He looked at Yunho’s back and couldn’t help but smiled and it turned into a chuckle when he saw his boyfriend suddenly jumped up, shouting in triumph as he punched his fists into the air and successfully got Jaejoong burst out laughing.
‘And yes. I’ve got something great in return.’ Jaejoong’s heart smiled.
