“Come back to bed, Clark”, Oliver mumbles, still mostly asleep, pulling up the covers as he starts to feel chilly without Clark by his side.
“I’ve got to get to work,” Clark replies and plants a soft kiss on Oliver’s cheek--
“No, you really don’t, come back here,” Oliver pulls Clark back into bed, snaking his arms around Clark’s waist and holding tight. The blond glances at the clock-damn, it was only 7 a.m.-and yawns, nuzzling up against Clark’s soft hair.
“Ollie, seriously,” Clark chuckles, “You know you don’t have the strength to keep me here.”
“Who says I need strength?” Oliver replies, “I know you can’t resist my charm.”
“Woah, ego much, Mr Queen?” Clark teases him, settling more comfortably in Oliver’s arms despite himself. “I’ve really got get to work though, Lois is going to kill me.”
“Forget Lois,” Oliver hisses, not pleased at all to hear her name, “She is always trying to get you all for herself, and steal you away from me.”
“Ok, first, this must be the millionth time you’ve said that,” Clark rolls his eyes, thinking how ridiculous the idea of him and Lois being together is, “And it still sounds lame,” Clark adds for good measure.
“Mock me all you want, I don’t care as long as I win,” Oliver counters, “Anyway, I already told your editor in chief that you were taking the day off.”
“Ollie! Seriously, you can’t just do that,” Clark turned around to face Oliver who was smiling like a fool. He wanted to be mad at Oliver, but really, he was somewhat glad he didn’t have to go to work and could just spend the whole day with his boyfriend.
“You have the whole week off actually, and so do I,” Oliver grins, kissing Clark on the lips, to which Clark pulls away quickly.
“Ugh, morning breath, go brush your teeth and try again,” Clark lies back on the bed, still fully clothed., and stretches lazily, letting the sun shine on him.
“I’ll do it later, it’s so early,” Oliver snorts and slides his arm back around Clark’s waist, resting his head upon Clark’s chest, but hurt his ear by doing so because of Clark’s shirt pocket. “And take this damn thing off,” Oliver grumbles and tears Clark’s shirt off, purring with delight as his cheek brushes against soft bare skin.
“Oh Lord, did you just purr?”Clark asks with an amused tone.
“Did not,” Oliver mumbles again, trying to play it casual and cool.
“You so did,” Clark laughs at his boyfriend’s childish yet cute behavior. He is so in love with the man that he’d love anything about him.
“You know, everybody at work already hates me because I’m dating you and getting all these privileges,” Clark says after a few moments of silence while running his fingers through Oliver’s hair.
“Yeah, yeah, tough for them,” Oliver replies absentmindedly,” now let’s just go back to sleep, yeah?”
“All right,” Clark agrees, he is kind of tired after all, and having a naked Oliver Queen in your bed really trumps anything in the world.
The End
