this turned out so, so, so so so amazing. You've done a fabulous job with the different voices, motivations, and acceptance of everyone. Zack is wonderful; Auron is wonderful; Argilla and Roland are funny (nice, that some people retain their sense of humor after death ;D)

Really, just-- each little piece individually is so interesting and fun, but together they make this just-- awesome and brilliant :D

The repeating of Basch's vi was also really nice. Says something, I think, about how time works when it doesn't matter any more.

I love the way all of this wove together, the pieces and the references that you can get if you know enough of the canons (and I know most of them); I love the different ways each person addresses this situation and I super duper love Gabranth, and gneeeeeeeeee I make the happy noise at all of Basch's pieces. Squeal. LOVE.

I loved the voices, the choices each made and their own individual reasons, but I just have to say:

One of the most interesting things about this, for me, is the separation between those who are in Valhalla and those who aren't--Gizel's acidity making me worry about Sialeeds, the way it's all about loyalty for Noah, never right or wrong, as always (and Drace wouldn't be there, lovely, lovely Drace), and the waiting for Vossler (I truly wasn't sure if he'd show up). And then he's there, and Ashe is beside him, which, intentional or not, makes me think of Basch standing a ways off, horribly, like some outsider as Vossler says we and I bite my nails over what he means.

More succinctly, ow.
