Oh, man, this is awesome. I'm not entirely familiar with the main fandom, but FFVIII. SEIFER. SEIFERRRRRRR. Also, Auron is priceless, and I really, really, really love the way you've written Basch here.

I caught a typo in Seifer's section: slow buy very visible. Just an FYI.

I think it was just that, the quotient of creepiness and villainy among the einherjar that sealed this wor me. Woltar, was it?

Oh, this was lovely and heart-rending and wistful and... somehow, both tonally typical and atypical for you. Perhaps because the ending was so muted and so hopeful, but there were sparks of so much sadness within this nonetheless? But beautiful as always-- I don't think you could write dreadfully even if you wanted to!-- and I adore how many ways you weaved together the different stories of everyone here. I enjoyed all the snippets, though I have to admit I got lost in quite a few. ;)
