The idea was more to name drinks after them, not provide drinks FOR them. But yeah. Borus has the same difficulty. I can't imagine naming a mixed drink after ol' Redrum.

Hmm...maybe for Borus something similar to an Irish Car Bomb but using wine as the base...

But the idea of Bprus using a wine cheap enough to make a cocktail with and not be savored alone... ::twitch::

Hm.

I could always pun on his name.

Borus Redrum
in a punch bowl, prepare:
1 cup mortared blackberries
2 cups mortared black grapes
1 cup mortared raspberries
pinch salt
pinch mace (for luck)
let sit and chill for half an hour
Pour atop:
1 gallon decent burgundy
8 parts Bacardi 151
3 cups tonic water
float atop bowl
halved berries and grapes

I'd enjoy a Gremio and Sasurai. ;)

I'm for an Albert (duh!) or an Odessa.

The Odessa sounds delicious. I like how hers differs from Albert's-- his has a salt rim, and hers is sugared. Is it a sweet drink?

The Silverbergs are all spicy, because of the Goldschlager, which is a cinnamon liquor with gold flakes. Elenor is dry and heavy, Leon is an eye-opener and spicy, Mathiu is a slightly less eye-opening one but just as spicy, Odessa is sweet (because of the cider), as is Caesar, and Albert is sour.

Curiosity on which you find appealing / nauseating?

I imagine you could just use regular vodka and get the melon-and-cream feeling.

I think I'm in love. And I'll have a Marscal please.

Did you think these all up yourself? Have you this great a knowledge of liquors and liqueurs? And would you by any chance drink any of them?

Yes, I thought them up myself.

Yes, I have this intimate knowledge, purely from being a waitress. I have still drunk only on fewer than ten occasions in my life, but I have to know what all of this smells and tastes like in order to peddle it.

And the drinks that I would probably enjoy: the Albert and Odessa Silverbergs. Goldschlager is my thing. And I could probably handle...half...of a Yuber or a Pesmerga, and prefer the Pes because it's cold.

Man, some of these sound really tasty, particullarly the Sasarai and Odessa Silverburg. I know i'd take one in an instant.

Also, I couldnb;t help but laugh at the Lady Chris and Luc "recipies" XD

::grins:: The Lady Chris recipe is RP inspired, but you really have to agree...that woman IS four tequila shots.

And as for Luc... ::snickers:: "This bottle is...clear...empty...like my soul..which does not (hic!) exist..."
