I loved Bruce's puzzlement about Clark getting hurt and then his enjoyment of the conversation over dinner and... Well, I loved all of it! Thanks for such an evocative story.

I really enjoyed Bruce being confused Clark was hurt too! It's wrong at so many levels, poor man... :) I'm glad you liked it!

Oh, I doubt it in this case--the beard hides a lot, lol, and Clark is quite young and oblivious (if sweet!) But it changed him a bit, I think, somehow...

This is very well-written! I can imagine the comics written after this story! :D

The idea of Bruce kind of wandering around through history fills me with...sad glee. :) But I like to imagine him on his way home...
