Now it can be told... I got assigned a Blue Beetle story, so I stayed right in comics fandom for Yuletide!  My requester wanted something that focused on the female characters, so I wrote from La Dama's POV and focused on her relationship with Brenda a lot--although most of the supporting characters made appearances.  Jaime, ironically, stayed in

It's my understanding that an unfilled prompt stays open until either 1) it is filled or 2) next Yuletide begins. When I discovered Yuletide this year I was looking over the unfilled prompts from last year in October and debating whether or not I wanted to try my hand at one before the archive closed, but I didn't end up doing it. So the only thing you have to worry about is that someone else will get to your prompt first!

Cool! I've put a few on my list of things to write, but seeing as it's taken me almost three years to get to some of them in the past, well...it might be a while still. :)
