Starting off with just one panel from Adventure Comics #0, because I'm madly in love with Francis Manapul and the way he draws Krypto especially, although his Clark is not half bad at all:
That was a beautiful picture! :)

Blood sisters story was interesting and I really enjoyed the New of New Krypton scans.

The Religious Guild is creepy. But Kal's speech is gorgeous. However, the tide is turned for certain only when General Zod makes an appearance to argue against an invasion.
I agree. Kal’s speech was totally awesome! And Kal as General El - wow! That was surprising. :)

But I've seen other people say it was too harsh for Kal's character, that he should have been more understanding to someone under the pressures Tyr is--and indeed, Kal does seem very close to the breaking point emotionally there. No matter how you read it, it's a rough scene.You know, I agree with you. Tyr should take consequences for his acting. Anyway, Kal’s words surprised me. And I’m going to admit - I had a feeling it was sort of too harsh behavior from ( ... )

I really like seeing stories set on Krypton befopre it was lost, actually!

Well, I can understand Kal was annoyed with Tyr - in addition he found out Tyr was lying him. Still, maybe I’m wrong, but I think, usually Superman is much most tolerant and forgiving even to his enemies. Well, this is Kal, so...

I'll be really curious to see how the writers end up framing it in the long run. Does it inspire Tyr to do better, or does it break his spirit? And is it the first sign of Kal cracking? It's hard to say where it might be going, but it's really interesting (and painful!)
