Finally got back to reading this, and man, it was *fantastic*!! I so loved the eerie feel of the first few chapters, before Bruce's new 'status' was revealed, Clark's compulsion toward Bruce entwined with his fear. *shivers* So perfect.
And the fight with Fiorella and her minions, man, the surprise of the wings was just right.
And the epilogue... *SO* perfect!! I loved Tim's joking about them getting a room, how it was just one little adjustment for the family, and Bruce's later proposal to Clark, HEE!! XD
*applauds wildly* Awesome story, hon! And Rai's illustrations were such a great compliment. Just WOW!! :D

You know, I almost didn't write the epilogue at all? Rai reminded me that I KIND OF had some loose ends to tie up with the Batfamily and League, lol. And wasn't her art amazing? *happy sigh* It was a really fun project to work on...

You have surpassed everything DC has allowed to be published (as usual) and created a romance of the first order, here. Sexy, intense, and totally true to the characters (IMO). Thanks for this wonderful story!

I'm really glad you liked it! I think this was one of my favorite things I wrote this year, I just got a chance to relax and work with the cliches and have fun. :)

This series was so interestingly crafted that even though we the reading audience knew what was going on, you made the reading atmosphere creepy and dark enough that *I* was just caught up in Bruce's dilemma and both of their hunger. and speaking about hunger, wow! Clark's hunger for Bruce, how it pulled him away from Lois, even his fantasy's changed. The dance between the two, the *I need* *I want* *I won't* *I will* push-pull between the two, was so delish. I almost didn't miss the graphic sex. Almost LOL
I squeed through the fight scene loving the fact that Bruce popped open wings to save his Clark from the bad old vampires.
AND AND AND the coming out of both Batman's new status and he and Superman's relationship. Married...damn I loved it so much.
Thank you so damn much for this wonderful ride into another version of the World's Finest

I don't often like to write Clark leaving Lois for Bruce, but I admit I really enjoyed showing his attention shift here. :)
