Legends of the Dark Knight 186-189 (2005) featured a story arc called "Riddle me That," in which a revamped Riddler appeared, complete with torturous childhood trauma that explains his compulsions (child genius with a father who beat him and said he was cheating!) and a very new look and style:

I think "Oz" could decide to model himself on Ozymandius of Watchmen fame and have a good thing going there, too! Or make jokes about being a "friend of Dorothy" and such...so many possibilities...

The scary thing I suspect they weren't trying to make him more attractive to women, they were trying to make him creepier to teenage boys. :)

The results are so terribly pretty, though! :D

I want to laugh, but that burst of laughter is contained by my utter confusion of Eddie's new look. He's trying to seduce Batman right? What do you mean no, DC? Really?

HAHAH the black nail polish in the fourth scan. OH GOD.

I must also admit to enjoying Batman appearing as a wraith, melding into the shadows. Makes Eddie in the last scan seem very accomplished indeed.

So, I'm probably reading this totally wrong but did Batman walk through Eddie in the first half there? Cos Eddie is an apparition/projection of some kind?

And in the end panel, it's Batman he's calling sweetheart? *looks hopeful*

One thing I do know, in the first lot of panels, Eddie has the fugliest pair of hands I've ever seen! In the first panel of him I was thinking 'please tell me he's wearing flesh coloured gloves!' *ack!*

All these scans are preparation for you writing Eddie/Batman y/y? Because the UST between them is seriously awesome! UST FTW!!! *hands over lots of cookies*
