I was in line--it was a long line, I had to wait almost an hour, but it was WORTH IT. I could hear Nightwing talking to people at the front of the line and I was just getting more and more nervous. Like, what if I made an idiot of myself? What if I couldn’t say anything and just stared at him? What if I cried? I was--okay, I admit it, I was getting a little wound up and might have been...I might have been getting close to hyperventilating. I guess it was bad enough that the two guys in front of me in line noticed, because they turned around and smiled at me.
I can relate with this so much. (Exactly how I would feel going to M&G with my Idol) :DDD

because the line was still creeping forward and I was trying not to freak out at the fact that I’d be MEETING DICK GRAYSON soon.

“I cried too,” said the guy in the suit. “You’re right, he is amazing.”

“And this is one of your biggest fans,” said the guy in the sweats, and I realized he was talking about me

*grin* I got to meet some wrestlers over my vacation and I can safely say I'm writing from experience here! (She did a lot better than I did, actually!)

Isn't that a lovely dream, imagining meeting someone unaware and having them treat you like that? Clark and Bruce are the best... Imagining them waiting in line to tell Dick he's wonderful made me all warm and happy to write!

What a GREAT story, Mithen! *laughs* Those were definitely my feelings when I met David Marciano (Ray Vecchio of Due South) up in Toronto at the DS con. I was the head of his fan group at RCW and escorted him to his panel. Prettiest green eyes I ever saw! :)

I can just imagine fangirling all over Dick! He's a canon fanboy of Clark, after all, so he'd understand. ;)

Typical Bruce, giving the fan *bounces* that upgraded ticket! And great idea to have Clark and Bruce in line to give Dick his due! :)

This was a great read for my Dick Grayson-lovin' heart! :)

Happy birthday to you! *throws confetti* It's fun but nervewracking to meet stars up close, isn't it? It was cool to get into the head of someone seeing these guys from the outside a bit. :) And Bruce is such a sweetie under the bluster...

Awww, this was such a great little side story! I always love an outsiders pov, and seeing their impressions of the characters - even if they don't know who they are! :)

He looked a little surprised when my two new friends came up and shook his hand, and he asked them if this was their first meet and greet.

“I haven’t been to one since I was a kid,” said the guy wearing sweats. “But it was worth the wait to shake your hand and tell you what a great champion you are.”

The guy in the suit shook his hand too. “I’ve followed your career a long time,” he said, “And I’m so proud of you.”

Nightwing--he actually blushed, and it was the cutest thing ever.

THOSE TWO. And Dick! He was so wonderful - both in reaction to Bruce and Clark's praise - and with the fan! *hearts him*

And then Bruce got her a much better seat, awww! *hearts him too*

Outsider POVs are SO fun to write, I could not resist!

Imagining Dick looking up and having Clark and Bruce there just made me laugh, oh these silly guys. And Bruce takes care of people intelligent enough to love Dick Grayson! :)
