They're right, of course. Look at Team Hell No, or Hogan training Hillbilly Jim, or any other classic "(relatively) normal guy works with some unsocialized monster" angle. And the thought of Az hitting on Ivy... that literally had me fall out of my chair laughing!
The Warrior lost after a well-fought match and made his exit in a bluster of incoherently bi-lingual threats: "Ore will crush your karada into dust! Your kokoro is no match for ore no ki of great--of great subarashii...ness!" Clark saw young women covering their mouths to hide their delighted giggles and suspected Guy had plenty of fans in Japan.Oh... oh wow. You know, I only took one semester of Japanese (I was reasonably good with spoken and hiragana, and could muddle through katakana, but kanji just completely defeated me), but even with my weak knowledge of the language, Guy's "nihongish" there just *hurt!* ;) Then again, it's ( ... )

Clark obviously hates them, but the image of Azrael trying to eat pizza with his face mask on actually made me snicker, so I suspect they are pretty damn funny.
Oh boy, that bad Japanese... *wince* I did figure if anyone could get away with it it would be the Warrior, who doesn't make sense in any language. I haven't watched much Japanese wrestling, but I love the idea of the crowd being very respectful and attentive, and I can see how that would totally throw an American wrestler off!
Poor Jean-Paul is ending up saddled with a lot of the worst of baggage in this world! The big wrestling family is not always (often?) a happy place. I started reading Diana Hart's expose and found it so discouraging and depressing I had to quit, I confess!
There's a reason it's only the 14-year-old boys who ask to have Catwoman as their Make-A-Wish, and I think they're asking ( ... )

one of the bookers apparently thought having a hayseed show a brainwashed vigilante assassin how to live a normal life was comedy gold
OMG YES. VERY YES. I wish this was a real thing now so I could see these promos, they would be my favorite ever. And poor, poor Jean-Paul! *snuggles him*
I love that Bruce gets to debut the Bat in Japan, where that oddball gimmick can flourish - it'll be great if he gets big enough doing that there that he can bring it back home :).

I know! Clark hated them, but I desperately wished I could see them. Azrael intoning about DESTINY and VENGEANCE while Country Clark tries to take a nap! :)
Yay for the Bat at last! Getting free of Luthor for a little bit will probably turn out to be really good for him...he's going to get to his preferred persona well before poor Clark... *pets Clark*

I was a little teary-eyed over the Make-A-Wish visit. Wonder what Colin will think of his hero?
Lex is deliciously evil! He knew how to hurt Clark the most! A heel! Tsk, tsk, he's shooting himself in the foot. Clark will not be as successful as a face.
Poor Jean-Paul!
