But of course the Clark/Bruce moments were the ones I loved best, them eating in the parking garage and Bruce taking Clark home (!) at the end...
But this line was my favorite:
"Anyway, I don't get much time to spend with my--well, my foster-father, the man who raised me," he said. "It was good to see him again."
ALFRED!!! All the Alfred feels! I so want he and Clark to meet...

As it turned out, it was none of these things. It was instead an entirely bland set of beige boxes in a building of middling price, with no decorations on the walls, no photos, and only the most functional and Spartan of furniture. It revealed nothing about Bruce at ( ... )

And Bruce's Super-Boring Apartment, yes! No personality there at all...it was actually kind of fun to try to imagine a room that reveals nothing about its owner...
And yes, alas, being worried about Dick's parents is...not a bad idea. T_T I'm feeling really sad about it now! I don't want to write it!

Bruce's hotel soap is awesomely thrifty and sad. Like, here's a Bruce that has sort of learned how the other half lives through his time rubbing elbows with other wrestles, and it's strangely adorable to see that expressed through hoarding free soap.

I am so glad you liked the hotel soap, it seemed so very Bruce in this universe somehow. It's really funny how things translate into a wrestling life but still make sense (I hope!)
