I found your Superbat stories a while back and read through practically all of them. I decided it's way past time that I stop lurking about and tell you how wonderful I think they are :)

Oh, the takeover has begun!

I loved everyone's reactions to Luthor - the mention of Booster and Beetle going to Detroit! - and Selina's support of Clark was just lovely. And Bruce! BRUCE. *hearts him* So totally demanding that Clark gets a full-time contract, eeeee!

I can't wait for more! :)

(Tiny comment due to busyness!)

Hee, poor Booster and Beetle in the Detroit League, they are so sad! But yes, Bruce's sly machinations have been making me SO HAPPY to write, he's just wonderful. *hearts him*

More soon! *crosses fingers*

Loved this chapter! I enjoyed Bruce's sneakiness and Lex's business sense triumphing over his desire to gloat, and Selina's support of Clark. I'm excited about seeing the Invasion storyline play out and the development of the wrestlers once they're officially in the DCW.

That will be interesting to see Lex's reaction to Clark and how Bruce will have to work behind the scenes to keep Clark in the fold.

It would be a great ending if Lex has to fold and Bruce takes over with his money and savvy. ;)

Lex being a savvy businessman and that trumping his sense of personal vendetta (for now) has made me really happy, it's a different way of writing him and works well in this kind of AU, I think.

I'm writing their first night in the DCW this week and am very excited myself! *grin*

Ahhhhhhh! LEX! He makes sleazy look so silky smoooooooth! I love the Bruce/Lex exchange! Their minds always play off each other so well. It's a pity Lex has such villainous leanings or else the things they could accomplish! I am catching up and I get to read 2 chapters back to back, which is good bc I was already tearing up at the end there and there was no way I could have survived the wait!

I love Lex here so much! I've always found him very difficult to write, but that mix of "Ha ha I'm just kidding except I'm deadly serious. No, just acting! Except I'm not" is just too fun. :)

I'm so glad you're enjoying, eee! *dances happily*

"Tsk tsk, Mr. Gardner," said Luthor. "Is that any way to talk to the savior of your promotion?"
That’s so Lex like.

They're loyal, they're smart, they buy a lot of merchandise and you don't want to lose them. So they need some extra closure, a sense they're being respected on their own terms, a reason to switch to your product."
AWWW, Bruce said it so well.

"I might, but we need to discuss a few stipulations," Bruce said.
Wow, clever (curious what those stipulations could be.)

"Not yet," muttered Bruce, and lapsed back into brooding.
"Not yet," - that sounds promising. :)

"This is--this is a full-time contract."
YAY, I knew it! (I love Bruce! :D)

This is going to be your chance to really fly, I know it.
True and perfect!

At last, Bruce opened up his own envelope and cast his eye over the piece of paper inside, refolding it after the most cursory of glances. Then he smiled, more to himself than at Clark.
"It took some persuading, but it seems Luthor has met all of my stipulations," he said.:lol Bruce is good at persuading ( ... )

Lex is so fun to write in this universe--a bad man, but not crazy or genocidal, it's really interesting!

YAY, I knew it! (I love Bruce! :D)

Bruce is doing his best to make sure Clark's talents get seen and recognized! It's Clark's skill that makes the difference, but Clark's...not so good at self-promotion, you know? So Bruce feels like he has to nudge a bit... :)
