That's so cute and sad and heartwarming. It reminds me of those dogs who'll sit near the graves of their owners. And this part especially:
"Krypto waited and waited for what felt like a thousand years -- for Kal-el, his Kal-el had promised to return. And Kal-el never broke a promise."

That's just so sweet that Krypto waited and that Kal came back and then they have that hugging scene.

This is wonderful scan. Btw I think the evil dust mites like attacking the eyes today. -sniff-

There seem to be a lot of dust mites around at the moment! *scrubs eyes* Yes, the image of him just sitting and waiting for what seems like forever is...augh. I was so worried Clark was going to get him out and then he'd die and I'd be traumatized for life, lol...

I'm such a sucker for Krypto so this is one of my all-time favorite issues.

God, I was so happy that they didn't kill Krypto and let him come back! Clark really needs his dog by his side...

Oh my god ;_;. Ever since Argus from the Odyssey, dogs who await their masters for an obscenely sad amount of time is instant tears for me. I'm glad they got their reunion

Oh man, I know! Long-waiting dogs just get me right in the gut, and Krypto being stuck in the Phantom Zone was heart-wrenching. I'm so happy it was a good reunion, I was really afraid he was just going to die once Kal got him out...

OH MAN I'M SO HAPPY. Krypto is back! Clark has his dog again!
SQUEEEE! YES! Krypto is back - that's SO AWESOME! :DDD

It shows him trying to fight alongside Superman in all of his battles so far, leaping at enemies he can't touch, snarling at anyone who would hurt Kal-El.
That was so amazing... and touching!

And all was well for a boy and his dog.
I can't even say how happy I am! *very happy smile and tears of happiness*

OMG! I LOVED these words so much!

I know, isn't that faith (literally blind faith!) the most amazing thing? Ahhh, it made me tear up. It was definitely the best issue of Action so far, and it was so satisfying to see Krypto come back!
