Ummm, yes, that white t-shirt is definitely distracting, all artfully ripped and everything. :)

Yummy, yummy abs... :D I can definitely see some advantages to losing the "indestructible Kryptonian cloth" for at least a little while...

Steel is awesome here, I'm really happy with his portrayal!

Also, Krypto, yay! I'm oddly invested in Krypto and Ace, and I couldn't tell you why. There's just something about rooting for the dog... :)

Ha! I'm still wondering when DCnu is gonna deliver on all that diversity they promised. And no. Krypto is awesome.

OK, now you're getting me interested in Action again - a good thing! I like this version of the origin story - I was so proud of Krypto protecting his family! And it's nice to see a clever Jonathan.

Action is fun, but I have to say the ending kind of made me all o_O The jump from "gritty street-level justice" to "funky time-travel and quantum physics" was a little abrupt for me, but I'm ready to follow the roller coaster onward for now! :)

I like so much Action comics. Hahaha, it have some troubles (like t-shirts and such), but I love the soul they put in this new story. Aaaah, this is love, just like with Batman & Robin! <3

I do like how Morrison is adapting the old stories and...not changing them much, but kind of shifting them around a little bit. Honestly, I don't want Superman's origin to be very different from what I already know, so I'm able to enjoy fairly little differences!

AC#4

Though I was annoyingly distracted the whole issue because Superman's t-shirt is white and I don't know why, lol. Can't be a coloring error, as it happens consistently.

I was wondering about the color of the t-shirt as well. I saw they were even talking about it in reviews of AC too. (I found these lines: “While we've been getting used to seeing Superman wearing jeans, a t-shirt and boots, we discover that he has more than one color scheme for his shirt. When Clark has to run off and become Superman, he shows up wearing a white t-shirt with the S-logo (similar to what Supergirl wore long ago).” reading this review: http://tiny.cc/f6fxy And it reminded me again my favorite show - Smallville. (Clark’s t-shirts in Smallville had more colors too, they were usually red or blue. Or he wore a black one - as the Blur. :)).

“Stand down.” “You are under arrest.”
“Are you kidding.”Such scenes always make me smile ( ... )

It's funny, it does make perfect sense that Clark would have more than one color t-shirt (he must have made them himself), so there's no reason for it to throw me so much, lol! :P

Sam asking Clark to save Lois. And Clark’s reaction... I liked these panels a lot. Can’t wait to see how it continues.

I'm always kind of happy when I see Sam Lane as caring about his daughters. I don't know, I know a lot of villainous fathers probably don't care about their daughters, but I hated the way he treated Lucy before the reboot and am glad he might be willing to put his distrust of Superman aside to ask him to save Lois (assuming there's not some double-cross getting set up!)

Those pages with Steel were great (loved the art).

I didn't mention the art, and I should have, because I agree! Irons looks really great there.

The last panel gives me such a big hope. And Krypto was so brave!

The idea that Krypto has been watching over his master's son all these years actually makes me tear up.

I don’t know... is there a comic telling the same ( ( ... )

I was surprised when I found how horrible Sam Lane treated Lucy in the comics.
I hope there is no double-cross in the new comics - assuming from Sam/Superman talk in Superman#2. Though... we never know...

Yes. It was so touching. I loved the idea.

Ah, I had never seen it before (in part because until recently the Phantom Zone wasn't in canon anymore). That's a good thing to take from Smallville!
I’m pleased there are things in the new comic books that remind me my favorite show. :)

I've started to have more free time now
I’m glad to hear it. :)

I don't have any stories in reserve yet, so I can't post stories as often!I understand. ( ... )

Hmmm, that's a good point and does make me feel a little better about it! Five years is forever in comic books, but I don't think Perez would have written that if such a thing was going to be active in people's minds from Action.

I missed not seeing you on LJ. (I always fear something could change and you would stop to post there. I know, silly me. *sigh*

Not silly at all! I always feel a little sad when people post less, so I know what you mean. But really, right now the problem is just that I had so little time to write that I have no stories in reserve, and everything I'm writing is kind of long right now, so January is going to be a sparse month. But I'm actually about half-way through a new chapter for the series that puts Bruce into Action Comics, and I've gotten a good start on a long story where Bruce and Clark become the avatars of Nightwing and Flamebird when they're young. I don't know how long that one will be yet, ( ... )
