The storyline starts with Shadowpact (the demon-fighting group Detective Chimp belongs to) confronting some demons when a mysterious figure in mystical armor charges through a gate:
The armor looks wonderful!

Whoever you are... You might to be far away when that happens:

complete with massive glowing sword and all. Yum.

Also, Bruce still has his Batwing. But it's not a jet:

Yeahhhh, I'm hoping for some future shots of an armored Batman and Superman flying on a freaking dragon, I admit it.

Batman smacking down a bunch of evil-minded amateurs without even breaking a sweat delights me so much. I tell you, every single time they do the thing on the shows where someone looms up behind him and he backhands them without turning around, a squee. Every. Single. Time.

Detective Chimp's comment was my favorite! That bemused sort of "Well, you're not quite 'friends'...but also more than friends...it seems complicated."

It's a lot of fun! And I'm on Cloud 9 right now because this week's Superman 710 was so yummy, I cannot wait to put up scans! Young Clark and Bruce fighting side by side! Eeee!

I got such a kick out of Future Bruce being all "Okay, so the sun is ruining all technology... So I'm a human. In a bat suit. With a belt full of useless things... I NEED A DRAGON."
