Volleyball? Since when do you play volleyball? I focus on this rather than the leg shaving cuz I don't want to get strung up with any new techniques you've picked up from watching Bleach. Wait, did I just admit to watching anime too? The money thing is hard to pass up, bosses that are pains in the neck would get me looking even if I wasn't completely fulfilled by the job. I guess the kicker would be if the work that I didn't like might put me in a better position for something I did, then I could deal with it in the meantime. Either way, I know better than to stop you once you've made up your mind. It'll all turn out in the end.
While you're at it, pick up Trigun. Tres cool! But ignore Hellsing. It's terrible.
I have always played volleyball, it's just that no one I know likes to play volleyball, so I never do. LullabyeLeague also enjoys volleyball, which I didn't know until Friday!
This job also had nowhere to go. System Administrator is system administrator, and cannot be upgraded. That's the end of the line, and while money is nice, I can't imagine doing that kind of thing for the next year, let alone ten.
::snugs the ghulslayer all up!!:: So when are you visiting, you granulator you? And WHY DIDN'T WE GET INVITATIONS?!?!?!?!
I'm easing back on Livejournal and checking what everyone's up to.
I don't have good advice on the job thing. I guess you need to weigh out whether it's worse to have management you don't like or a job you don't like. If you're willing to hold out for a better offer, then I think you should. And I think you're actually very smart to not let money factor into it.
I've heard a lot about Bleach. You're the second person whose tastes I respect who has mentioned it, so I may have to check it out.
And have fun with volleyball. I've always wanted to try it. *hugs*
Hey, sweetie! ::loves all up into little bitty bitty bits!!::
Bleach is lots of fun. I suggest watching about ten minutes of the middle eps (30-50 would be a good place) so you're good and confused, and then go back and start watching it. I don't know that I would have gotten into it so much if I hadn't seen the middle, and asked "What's that? What's that? Who's that? WHAT?!?! He just got impaled with a sword!! What the hell's he doing getting up? . . . boy there's a lot of blood in this anime . . ."
Well, I imagine her mom might not see why this change in duties would be so stressful, and is looking at both the money and the fact that the current reason for job stress would be gone. I confess that given a choice between two jobs with different but roughly equivalent problems, I would probably take the one that paid half again as much.
Except, well, not so much if I already had one of them and was still looking for a third option that would be better than either, and didn't want to go and jump ship on the second one so quickly, especially if it was the one where the duties were worse but the people were better. :P

In the words of Malcolm Reynolds, " . . . huh."
