I've been bad, and haven't posted since I got laid off >_<

It's been a good week, for the most part. Got some PM work caught up, relaxed a lot, cooked some real meals, and I'm getting ready for a fun weekend of geekery. Life is good.

I feel pretty much like a chode, bitching about being bored at work while i'm being paid to surf the internet, but g'damn! There is only so much mindless surfing I can do, especially when I've got such crappy filters to navagate around.

But, I'll be out soon, and it shall be glorious.

So, Clan. It was freakin awesome. We had a good group of people for the ride, and through conversations and movie watching, the time flew. The Harvester (from Dune) that seemed to be hunting us in the rain was kinda creepy, but starting the trend of "Hey, horror movies that start this way" "So do pornos." was good stuff ( Read more... )

back from clan. Had a great time. back at work, and very, very tired.

Had a good weekend. Got an apartment in Round Rock, got to go dancing, saw Harry Potter, got beat up by a door, played some amtgard (well, reeved), and all kinds of fun stuff.

And I leave for Clan in a few hours.

Life is good.

I leave for Clan in one week. There will be a long drive across the deadlands of Texas on a moonless night, surrounded by good people who will all be as excited as me to be on the road. I predict getting to know people all over again, and cherishing every minute of it ( Read more... )
