Turning the quarter of a century old has its great moments and some of the bad, but mainly good! Here’s what I got:

Parents had a huge argument before I went to work today (as related to me by bro). After Mom called me up for something unrelated, I could hear her voice about to break. I told her not to stress so much and that I loved her, and she says that no one understands her feelings.

I know there are a lot of daughters who are lucky that their mothers are very supportive of everything they do, although there are some of the usual arguments. This one is dedicated to the daughters whose mothers live through them, often forgetting that these daughters aren’t the dolls they played with when they are small.

Yesterday’s service and cremation was more powerful than I anticipated. There are a few things that are niggling at me though:

At least, I think it has. The cloud of doom and exhaustion I’ve been feeling the past few days seems to have disappeared, and all I’m left is with this annoying cough. Funnily, I think it was the gargle that did it. I forgot to gargle the past few days and when my cough got bad this morning, I finally remembered to do so.
