I'm glad you came to a decision on the drinking thing! Really, the decision is YOURS because it is YOUR shows and YOUR school who's image is on the line. Sure, the individual dancer, too, but if she does something, they'll look at her but wonder what school she's from. Or they'll always remember one of your shows as the ones the girls got really drunk at. When it's YOUR reputation on the line, you have every right to ask that the dancers don't drink until they are in street clothes. I'd abide by your rules if I were still dancing with you, because it's FAIR.
