Now that I've actually eaten the yak meat I got I feel much more qualified to respond. It tastes kinda' like bison. It is, after all, a bovid creature so the meat is not unlike beef, but it has a much milder flavor. We made burgers with it and they were yummy. :-) I'd definitely recommend it. Though if you intend to order some from the place we did, or even the other place I found that offers is, be prepared to host a barbeque. These are small-time ranchers and usually have a minimum order requirement to ensure shipping costs.

As for me, I'm doing well. At the moment I am in Massachusetts to visit friends and soon-to-be family (staying with xany's folks). I've sort of disappeared from a lot of scenes, mainly for lack of time and energy. If you're interested in coming down to Florida though, you're welcome at my place. How are you? Snowed in again in Buffalo? Are you even still out that way?
