{chortle} Love the idea of Jarriere's holiday.

Must mention, though, as I don't know Mr Miyagi, I kept mentally switching it to Mr Magoo... which made an appalling amount of sense...

Mr. Miyagi, played by Pat Morita, is the mentor character in the Karate Kid movies.

And I figure if Jarriere can be nice to Servalan, it's only right to be nice to not-so-nice people on his day. :)

But I meant to say, (1) thank you, and (2) Mr. Magoo works nicely, too. :)

Mr Magoo is nearly as scarey an idea as my Binsend Honeydew :)

*giggle* You came up with some great ones. The mind boggles at some of these plots.

Thank you! It's the questions that make it work or not, though. I love this meme, because you get to make up and tell stories without having to struggle through writing actual scenes. :D

They're great, very inventive. Who was Snape's son's mother?

I eventually twigged that Hiro is someone from that new superhero program; I think astrogirl2 mentioned him. Is it worth watching if it comes out here? Astro happened to say it was a bit humorless.

Thanks! And Samnus's mom, if I had to actually write the story, is probably either Willow Rosenberg or an OCF. There's nobody in the Potterverse that I can quite see Snape with.

As to Heroes, I'm surprised Astro thinks it's humorless. I laugh out loud quite often while watching it; like B7 or BtVS, it's a combination of dark and funny. I started watching it mostly because I loved Hiro just from seeing one or two scenes--most of the humor comes from Hiro and his sidekick Ando--and the other characters have grown on me. I'd say anybody who likes both Lost and superhero comics ought to give it a chance, at least through the two-episode premiere.

I hope it comes on here soon then.

I found the first couple of episodes a bit overly serious, but it's grown on me a lot since then, and there have been some nice bits of humor. I'm not moved to be hugely fannish about it, but I do think I'd recommend it. Hell, it's worth watching just for Hiro, who is the most adorable think ever. I just want to cuddle him!

(Which reminds me... On the long list of things I need to do now that my relatives are gone, "watch yesterday's episode" ought to be up there somewhere...)

Larry as a frog is...remarkable, and a tad uncomfortably, apt. Aw. :-)

I wanted to make him something nocturnal--I was hoping I could think of some sort of nocturnal marsupial with a curious streak--but then I remembered his affinity for bathtubs.

Anyway, we smart gals know he's really a prince. :)

(grin)

It isn't widely known, but the name of Gandalf's undercover identity is Bertie Bott.

::bobs a curtsey::

What I'm finding amusing is how often Hamlet and Gandalf are showing up together in the questions. o_O
