Let's just call this the "Miles Edgeworth" chapter, shall we? 'Cause that's what it turned into. The rest of the stuff-y'know, the stuff that focuses on Apollo and Klavier, the guys supposedly starring in this arc?-yeah, it got moved into chapter 14. 'Cause Miles Edgeworth, he don't share his chapter with nobody. Well. Maybe. XD

I was thinking that I must be dumb for still not understanding what's going on and I must've missed something... :C

Yes, that needed all caps to fully express my joy.
I was looking forward to Miles, and wasn't disappointed, even if Apollo's mental image of them is shattered. XD
Great work, and worth the wait. I worry for Klavier, though. The stick up his ass seems to have been upgraded to a small log, if his behavior is any indication. D:

There's more Miles in the next chapter, briefly. He's just so damn fun to write, and Phoenix stops being such a curmudgeon when Edgey's around and and and. ;_; I'm so glad you weren't disappointed! :)
Thanks for reading! I'll try to finish up 14 ASAP.

Okay, first of all? First of all? Miles Edgeworth rocks!!!
Honestly, he adds a breath of fresh air to the entire chapter, and I can already see Phoenix relaxing a bit around him. The part where Apollo's illusions come crashing down around him? I love it. I mean, it is so realistic! Who hasn't dreamed of something or thought about it forever and then actually got it, whatever it was, and the reality was so completely different from what you were expecting?? It's happened to almost everyone on this planet, I imagine! And Apollo handled it very well. I love all the little details about Apollo's nervous habits that you sprinkle through ( ... )

You watch, I'll just shove all that into my novel and then people'll have to take the time to read it 'cause it's not fanfiction, 'cept they won't. *emo*
I had such fun adding Edgeworth into this mess. He's the only one who isn't really emotionally attached, so I got to use him as my logic stick. Which was nice, with all these emotional men running around! *laughs* I'm glad you enjoyed him too, hon!
Oh man, I agree that it's horrid for everyone to be talking about Apollo over Apollo's head. And because it seems to piss you off so bad, I've incorporated it quite a bit into Jovial's story. Not because I want to piss you off, but because it seems to be working ... and oh man, Jovial hates it. So much. *sighs ( ... )
