Let's just call this the "Miles Edgeworth" chapter, shall we? 'Cause that's what it turned into. The rest of the stuff-y'know, the stuff that focuses on Apollo and Klavier, the guys supposedly starring in this arc?-yeah, it got moved into chapter 14. 'Cause Miles Edgeworth, he don't share his chapter with nobody. Well. Maybe. XD ( Read more... )

Wow! It's finally starting to make sense!
I was thinking that I must be dumb for still not understanding what's going on and I must've missed something... :C

Hahaha no, not dumb at all. There are hints all the way through as to what happened, but you'd have to read this more obsessively than most people read fanfiction (or SHOULD read fanfiction) to catch it. I'm glad it's starting to fall together!

♥!

OH GOD AN EXPLANATION.

Yes, that needed all caps to fully express my joy.

I was looking forward to Miles, and wasn't disappointed, even if Apollo's mental image of them is shattered. XD

Great work, and worth the wait. I worry for Klavier, though. The stick up his ass seems to have been upgraded to a small log, if his behavior is any indication. D:

*laughed loudly enough at the log comment to wake the cat*

There's more Miles in the next chapter, briefly. He's just so damn fun to write, and Phoenix stops being such a curmudgeon when Edgey's around and and and. ;_; I'm so glad you weren't disappointed! :)

Thanks for reading! I'll try to finish up 14 ASAP.

EDtjdsfykxrdahzd write faster so I can find out what happens next. Also HELO EDGEWORTH, AND WHAT SECRET CONVERSATIONS ARE YOU HOLDING WITH PHOENIX OUT OF EARSHOT? XD

o_O I must be getting predictable in my old age or something. Chapter 14, at present, opens with Edgeworth and Wright holding a conversation in what they think is well out of earshot.

... how do you people do that? XD

Writing as fast as I can! Next part should be up sometime tonight. :) ♥

*whimpers* So many clues, rereading this. So many clues that I missed so completely!!! I am constantly feeling like I should whap myself on the forehead or something similar. Ah, well, I can vent in the next chapter (and this also makes me feel like I'm shortchanging you on quality comments for 11, 12 and 13 in my rush to get to 14 and just spill all my thoughts all over you... *is sad*).

Okay, first of all? First of all? Miles Edgeworth rocks!!!

Honestly, he adds a breath of fresh air to the entire chapter, and I can already see Phoenix relaxing a bit around him. The part where Apollo's illusions come crashing down around him? I love it. I mean, it is so realistic! Who hasn't dreamed of something or thought about it forever and then actually got it, whatever it was, and the reality was so completely different from what you were expecting?? It's happened to almost everyone on this planet, I imagine! And Apollo handled it very well. I love all the little details about Apollo's nervous habits that you sprinkle through ( ... )

Hahaha, you wouldn't believe the amount of crap I've taken for all those clues. People would badger me for "what's going on?" and I'd tell them "it's in there if you look for it!" and get "Well I'm not gonna waste my time on fanfiction!" in answer. But seriously, it is all in there! ;_;

You watch, I'll just shove all that into my novel and then people'll have to take the time to read it 'cause it's not fanfiction, 'cept they won't. *emo*

I had such fun adding Edgeworth into this mess. He's the only one who isn't really emotionally attached, so I got to use him as my logic stick. Which was nice, with all these emotional men running around! *laughs* I'm glad you enjoyed him too, hon!

Oh man, I agree that it's horrid for everyone to be talking about Apollo over Apollo's head. And because it seems to piss you off so bad, I've incorporated it quite a bit into Jovial's story. Not because I want to piss you off, but because it seems to be working ... and oh man, Jovial hates it. So much. *sighs ( ... )
