All in all, really good fun and a great night out - highly recommended if you've never been. I'm thinking of taking my parents when they come to visit.
Is this horse or dog racing? The name makes it sound like dogs, but I thought I'd ask just in case.
Also, you're leaving out important information, namely how well each table did with their picks! *grins*
Peterborough Dogs does, in fact, imply dog racing. };P It is greyhounds, and they had both older dogs (up to 4 yrs?), and "puppies" (under 18 mos), who were inexperienced and really fun to watch. }:D
As far as picks goes, most of us lost - although not too badly really. One lady who was putting in reverse forecasts (picking the 1st and 2nd place dogs in any order) and trio all ways (all three places in any order) hit the jackpot with a trio winning over £100. We were all very jealous, and I think she was a bit embarrassed! }:)

I have to do some digging to find out how these dogs are treated. There's definitely a "they're abused" vs "they're well taken care of" debate.
