I heard on the Writer's Almanac this morning that today is the 50th anniversary of the publishing of The Fellowship of the Ring. I haven't heard about this anywhere else, but then again how big of a deal is it to most people? I don't know. But I'm marking the occasion by posting in my livejournal (after four months of nothing) and by saying: Lord

Mister!!! I thought of you last night. I was listening to loveline and Adam was in top form.. you would have loved it.

As for LOTR, don't know that I will be running out and buying it, but hey... ya just never know.
