Last night, the younger Otter offspring sang with his college choir in a presentation of 'Carmina Burana'. The opening/closing song, O Fortuna, is familiar to most of us from movies and commercials. It IS difficult to force ourselves to work on our O-fic instead of fan fic. Sometimes when the plot bunnies won't leave us alone, it's almost like we HAVE to write them to get back to what we were doing!

My o-fic is going to be for middle school readers--I have taken my original child character from 'Class Reunion' and put her into her 'real' family
(in fanfic she was a Malfoy, natch :) It's a ghost story. Five chapters
done so far and MUST get back on it.

Now...*crack the whip* I am dying for some more o-fic. DYYIiNnnng....(fades away) So, unless you're going to make a bunny stew- that was really great imagery by the way, of the little white tale disappearing into the woods.

That is funny about O Fortuna and the horror movies--I never knew. I have the exact opposite view--it sounds like the triumph of good over evil to me. *grins* The concert last night was recorded so hopefully we can get a copy of it. Jonathan didn't have a solo but he had major work behind the scenes as assistant director. His girlfriend had two solos, both gorgeous.
