Female gaming tshirts (uk post)

Earlier in the week I got a bit incensed at a Tesco Clothing newsletter. Why? Because they had gaming tshirts advertised with the slogan "Boys to men...The whole family will love these" which I felt was rather thoughtless because the whole family can't enjoy considering they only stock boys/mens tshirts. On the fashion front (aside from the fact Tesco don't stock decent shirts) you could always get the smallest mens shirt which fits your mid section and then cut off the collar, snip slightly into the chest section to open it up and cap the sleeves to make it more attractive. I do that to most of my t-shirts, these days, because my bosom is unnecessarily ample and I'm tired of looking like a teenage boy, even if I share some of their interests. :)

Do you know of any diagrams for that method of opening up/modifiyng the tshirt? It sounds good but I'm having a hard time picturing the precise result or exactly how to do it, since I tend to be very visual and I can kind of picture it but not quite.

I've made a little one up for you, I hope it helps. The pink lines are the way you'd cut to make the shirt in my icon. The blue line is a way of cutting it so that your boobs have more space/cleavage.

Remember that the back of the shirt needs to be higher, so cut that a bit more shallowly (I usually go just along the back of the collar, at a wide angle than the elasticated collar itself). I'd also recommend putting a stitch at the tops of the shoulder seams, just to stop them unravelling.
